Umm, Sundays I have church from 1:30-4:30 and my roommates and I alternate sunday dinners
That's pretty much my fixed schedule. I have a lot of stuff that isn't really week to week
English class is ok, I love my class and teacher, but the actual material feels like review.
Oh I'm in a sweet adeline group right now. We are working on 3 pieces at the moment: My Guy, Route 66, and the Star Spangled Banner. I love my group. we're doing really well, and we blend pretty nicely. It makes me not miss singing with my sisters so much. My book of mormon class is great, but it is super long. I'm learning a ton form it though. Choir is great, I'm singing first soprano, and since it is womens choir, we mostly just sing women's pieces obviously, but we also sing a lot with men's choir, which is always very fun. I kind of have a soft spot for basses. Their voices are just amazing. Our choir is an audition choir, and there are some really talanted people in it. Just wanted you to know, cause women's choir at a college usually isn't very good. This is not the case. Frisbee is amazing fun. I absolutely love it!! Our team is winning so far in the tournament, and this weekend is the final game! I'm pretty excited. I love my team too. Several teams practice at once, and the other teams will be working super hard, practicing throws, or running to improve speed, and we'll be sitting on the grass, joking, laughing, and eating cupcakes. We have treats at pretty much every practice:) I think it's the treats that are helping us win. :) We go out to eat or have potlucks at someone's apartment too. We are a well fed team. Humanities class should be interesting, because it is pretty much art appreciation, but for some reason it is just so boring i can't stand it. Maybe it's cause it is an hour and a half of discussion on the same topic at 8 in the morning? Who knows? Science is great, I'm learning a ton, and I love my teacher. His name is Brother Lemon, and he's super smart. I'm not doing very well grade-wise though. It's kind of depressing. I love the devotionals. They are pretty much amazing, and my choir gets to sing at them at least once a month. it's fun to sing, but we have to get ready ahead of time, so i end up missing science those days. Don't worry, We've only sang twice this semester. My Developing World class is my earliest class. It's not a bad class though. My professor looks about 53 and he has braces. It makes me feel better about myself (:
We have a lot of big projects in that class. Overall, I love the school. Everyone is really cool, and I've met a lot of people. There is a depressingly low amount of sarcasm here, but Laura saves me from that. I'm really good friends with laura. I've only known her for 2 months, but I already feel like she's another sister, or at least a very close friend. :) We laugh a lot, and use our the sarcasm that is unappreciated everywhere else on eachother. I'm also good friends with Rachel. She's really sweet. She's also confused and homesick. She's going home next semester to figure out what she wants to do with her life. Laura and Rachel are both from Virginia. They were friends before they came here. I don't get along with Ashley. Oh well, life goes on... The actual town of Rexburg is pretty boring I'd have to say. The students at BYUi make up about half of the population. That is an actual statistic. I know- sad. The sand dunes are fun though, and we like to go to Jamba Juice for smoothies. My FHE group is awesome. Pat lives lives in Aspen Village,(known for it's rats and mold), and he stops by our apartment regularly just to hang out. Matt is is roommate. He's really nice, but he's a lot older than us. He's 23, so we don't really hang out with him other than fhe. The other girls in our group are jamie, hayley, Amanda, and Myla. They're all a lot of fun, except I don't know amanda that well because she usually skips. We have a couple of locals too Annie and Emily. Emily is really nice, and anything that comes out of Annie's mouth is hilarious. Anyway, I have some homework to do, but that novel gives you some idea of my life. I update as often as I can. Love you all!
Emma
